After a successful career in Advertising, I was ready for a change. I was passionate about homes, so I started my own "Home" business doing Interior Design, Staging and Real Estate.
How it all began: I have what I like to call the designer gene.My Mom, sister and best friends all have the designer gene, and I thought everyone had it until one day when a very good friend of mine was having a party. We arrived at her home to find every room packed with people, except the living room, and I knew why.The room was arranged all wrong. It wasn't inviting. It wasn't conversational. There were dead silk plants (believe it or not) and many other items needed a new home. The next day, I went back to her house, knocked on the door and said: "Put your work clothes on, we're redesigning your living room."She trusted me, but wondered what her husband would say.So I asked and he said: "You can blow-up the entire room, it's a waste of space, and we never use it."So, we started clearing the room.Once the room was empty, we started arranging the big pieces, adding table, lamps and accessories. In the end, they were both overwhelmed and the room looked absolutely fantastic! Now, they use that room every day.... And a Redesigner was born.It was on that day I realized, not everyone is born with the designer gene, and I could do what I love for a living and make people happy.
A short time later, after helping a couple prepare there home for sale, my clients said: "Hey, by the way, do you know a good Realtor?" It was a light bulb moment for me. I thought, I can do it all! I can help people Stage, Buy and/or Sell and Decorate theirs homes ... and so I added Realtor to my list of services!
You will find when we work together that I am a person of integrity, trust and ethics who believes in having a positive outlook on life and follows the Golden Rule. I promise to provide you with the highest level of service, be your Trusted Advisor, Skilled Negotiator and Expert Facilitator.
I am very fortunate that I love what I do for a living! Sincerely, Jill Denton Realtor, Stager and Designer Lic# 01804876
